QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

IHI DALGAKIRAN MACHINERY was established with the partnership of IHI Holding from Japan and DALGAKIRAN Group from Turkey. IHI DALGAKIRAN is the first and only Turbo Compressor manufacturer of our country. 

To be assigned as a Procurement & Foreign Trade Specialist at our company’s Kocaeli / Dilovası location;  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration or related fields, 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in international trade (preferably in overseas logistics) and procurement operations.
• Law and regulation knowledge in the field of Import & Export,
• Advanced level of written and spoken English,
• Good  knowledge of MS Office Applications,
• Analytical and problem solving skills, result and quality oriented approach,
• Team player with good  communication and strong negotiation skills, able to keep up with busy schedule when necessary
• Residing in Istanbul-Anatolian side or Kocaeli (İzmit, Derince, Körfez, Dilovası, Gebze, Çayırova)
• No military obligation for male candidates.
• No travel limitation

İŞ TANIMI

• Coordinating all local and international air, road and overseas logistics operations, 
• Organize customs, transportation processes and arranging documents during import/export processes,
• Ensure all activities are compliant with the national and international regulations,
• Make sure  the delivery of orders to in a timely manner within the company rules and international trade regulation.
• Carrying out new offer, order and approval processes on time based on procurement demands  from all departments and follow up
• Manage  foreign trade activities as requrested in coordination with custom offices/suppliers/logistics/operation teams  and keep all related parties aware about the operation details, deadlines, changes ,etc.
• Leading logistics cost improvements and contributing to the achievement of department goals.
• Monitoring the performance of suppliers, evaluating suppliers' delivery performances continuously
• Analyse, monitor and reporting Daily/ weekly/monthly operations to department manager
• Taking the critical actions in case of any kind of supply problems.
