ALCE is a worldwide supplier to global energy distribution companies and switchgear manufacturers with solutions for measurement and insulation devices.

ALCE has been designing and manufacturing measurement transformers, insulators and epoxy parts for more than 50 years.

We are looking for a "Production Supervisor" with the following qualifications for our “Metalworks Plant (molding, CNC machining, sheet metal processing – core production)” located in Pendik-Kurtköy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge and experience about molding, CNC machines & machining, sheet metal processing and assembly processes.
• Participated and implemented studies on lean production techniques, quality improvement, process development, cost reduction and productivity increase.
• Having the ability of teamwork and cooperation.
• Having an investigative personality, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Able to take responsibility and initiative.
• Strong communication skills and human relations.
• Advanced level of written and spoken English.
• Effectively using MS Office programs.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• No military service obligation for male candidates.
• Living or able to live on the Asian side of Istanbul or Gebze / Darıca / Çayırova regions. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly reporting to the Head of Production.
• Responsible for all production processes at “Metalworks Plant” (molding, CNC machining, sheet metal processing – core production workshops)”.
• Leading and managing the production team including white collar and blue collar employees.
• Ensuring that production processes are carried out timely and effectively in accordance with the production plans and programs, quality  standards and procedures.
• Ensuring that production processes are carried out in accordance with the procedures and company targets.
• Ensuring the continuity and improvement of existing instructions and processes.
• Ensuring the documentation of new processes.
• Examining processes and making suggestions according to Procedures and Management Systems (Quality, Environment and OHS) standards.
• Following the wastage and error rates of the products, carrying out activities to prevent their recurrence.
• Presenting suggestions, opinions and project ideas to the management for increasing product quality and efficiency in production lines and participating in project studies.
• Making suggestions for improvement in machinery and equipment.
• Taking and implementing the necessary actions for the maintenance of all machinery and equipment within the framework of periodic plans.
• Guiding the team to ensure that employees work in accordance with OHS requirements and safety regulations.
